The Alpina Maroi is a modern designed in-mold ski helmet for skiers and boards, and especially for freeriders. The helmet is lightweight, well adjustable in size and offers a nice combination of low weight, excellent comfort and optimal protection thanks to a better impact resistance. In-mould ski helmet: maximum comfort, decent protection. These In-mould ski helmets are extra protective thanks to the 3-layer Ceramic top layer. Ideal if you are a winter sports enthusiast who does not do too many'crazy things' and who stays neatly on the slopes.

The protection in the event of a fall is very good, but for protection against bumps, impact from hard objects such as trees, rocks, etc. A hardshell or hybrid ski helmet is more suitable than an Inmold (softshell) ski helmet. The inner core of this type of In-mould helmet is made of HI-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene) which consists of many microscopic air chambers that absorb the forces that occur during an impact.

Useful and safe but also hygienic because HI-EPS does not absorb water or sweat. The finishing level of this ink-blue-grey Alpina Maroi helmet with cool neon accents is absolutely very good. The Hi-EPS (styrofoam layer under the outer layer) has small air chambers to better absorb any blows.

Thanks to technical features such as the Alpina Run System Ergo Snow adjustment, you can adjust the helmet to your head size. The fit and comfort are therefore very good. The Airstream Control ventilation system is a bit more limited with hybrid helmets, but you get extra safety in return. Like many Alpina ski helmets, this ski helmet also has Edge Protect, a break- and scratch-resistant layer on the bottom edge of the ski helmet. It provides an extra safety plus in the event of a side impact.

The Micro-fleece neck warmer provides comfort and the clip on the back ensures that you cannot lose your ski goggles. A big advantage of most Alpina ski helmets is that the fabric interior is removable.

These fabric parts of the helmet are washable, which means that hygiene is in order. The fabric ear muffs can also be removed, which can be very pleasant, especially in less cold weather. Please Note this item is new unused but the contents come in a plain box rather than it's original as the box was damaged in storage.
